DLANC/ HDBID Sponsored forum on 5th & Main Rosslyn Hotel pur

DLANC Planning committee and HDBID will be sponsoring a forum on pending affordable housing projects at the intersection of 5th and Main.

Approved projects include the construction of the Genesisi Hotel, a proposed expansion & remodel of the Pershing Hotel and Sanborne Hotel and the pending escrow by SRO Corp of the Rosslyn Hotel.

On Tuesday, March 16 @ 6:30 pm, the town hall meeting will focus on issues and concerns of the mixed income community at 5th and Main Streets.

The meeting will be at The Exchange/ HDBID offices at 114 West 5th Street LA CA 90013. Issues to be discussed include concentration of affordable housing, market rate housing components, ground floor retail activity in neighborhood buildings and work force housing.

Also discussed will be a proposed CRA backed good neighbor inititive, security issues, building management and guest policies.

At a future meeting, there will be a presentation by SRO Corp on the specifics of their management plan for the Rosslyn Hotel.
