KIDS' TOUR OF UNION STATION, SUNDAY, OCT. 28

If you have kids or are just young at heart, join the Los Angeles
Conservancy on Sunday, October 28 as we launch our brand-new Kids' Tour of
Union Station in downtown L.A. Opened in 1939, Union Station was the last
great train station built in the U.S. It's a great place for a kid's tour,
with its grand spaces, colorful tile and public art, courtyards with
fish-sculpture fountains, and obvious connection with trains. We'll also
have family activities, art projects, and snacks!

The event runs from 1-4 p.m. Tours last about an hour and start every half
hour from 1-2:30 p.m. Tours are $5 for children 12 and under (and L.A.
Conservancy members), $10 for the general public. Proceeds go toward the
Conservancy's new Youth Outreach Program, designed to foster the next
generation of preservationists by helping kids understand the beauty and
value of Los Angeles' historic architecture.

For reservations, visit www.laconservancy.org or call 213-623-2489. Hope to
see you there!
